[Devlog] Untitled MFGJ Platformer - Day 2


Hello again!

Day 2 of My First Game Jam has been a productive one for our team. Our visual artist Ajiyuu has created the sprite for our player character as well as small environmental pieces for the game. This includes the item wielded by the player character, which will be used as a weapon against enemies and as a tool to manipulate objects.

In addition, developer Folchamp has built a system that will allow for easy level creation. As our game is a platformer, level creation and design are critical to the project's success. Ideally, the four of us will be able to work on level design together once we have the basics down.

Finally, I've written the script for a cutscene that offers branching dialogue options to the player. Our group believes branching dialogue presents a more immersive and nuanced experience for the player, and so we made a point to include it in our game.
